Privacy Policy

Wen Company ('Face Spoiler', https://life-spoiler.com/face-spoiler) establishes and discloses the following privacy policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect personal information of data subjects.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes:
1. Service provision: AI face reading report generation, character image generation, content delivery
2. Goods/services provision: Paid payment management, purchase records
3. Member management: Identity verification, prevention of fraudulent use

Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company collects the following information for face reading services:
1. Required (account): Email, social login identifier (Google/Kakao), profile image URL
2. Required (face profile): Name, gender
3. Payment-related (entrusted to PG): Payment approval records, purchase tokens (sensitive data such as card numbers is not stored directly by the Company)

Article 3 (Facial Photo Processing and Immediate Deletion Policy) 🔒
The Company prioritizes user privacy and does NOT permanently store uploaded facial photos. The photo handling policy is as follows:
1. Uploaded facial photos are temporarily stored only to perform AI analysis.
2. Once payment is completed and a character image is generated, the original photo is automatically and permanently deleted.
3. If payment is not made, uploaded original photos are automatically and permanently deleted within a maximum of 3 days via an automated cleanup (cron) job.
4. Original photos are never exposed to anyone other than the member themselves and are not shared externally. They are temporarily transmitted to the Google Gemini API for analysis, where the data is processed according to Google's policies.

Article 4 (Retention Period of Personal Information)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon at the time of collection or as required by law.
1. Member information and face profiles: Until account deletion
2. Analysis reports and generated character images: Until account or profile deletion (uploaded original photos are deleted immediately as per Article 3)

Article 5 (Provision to Third Parties)
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties beyond the following entrusted processing:
1. AI analysis: Photos and profile information are sent to the Google Gemini API to generate face reading text and character images. Transmitted data is deleted from the Company's systems immediately after analysis.
2. Payment processing: Payment information is processed via TossPayments. Sensitive payment data (card numbers, etc.) is not directly stored by the Company.

Article 6 (Destruction of Personal Information)
The Company promptly destroys personal information when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of retention period or completion of processing purpose. Electronic files are destroyed using technical methods that prevent recovery.

Article 7 (Privacy Officer)

Article 8 (Cookies)
The Company uses 'cookies' to provide personalized services by storing and retrieving usage information.

Cookie usage purpose: Maintaining login sessions, storing language preferences, analyzing service usage statistics

Cookie installation, operation, and rejection: You can refuse cookie storage through your web browser settings. However, refusing cookies may make it difficult to use some services such as login.
